Unai Baquero join as a permanent member of the Management Committee of NACIONAL RE. Coming from the insurance sector, Baquero joined Nacional Re in October 2013,and he has been a director of General Insurance lines since 2014,responsibilities that he is currently developing in the Reinsurer.

39 years old, Baquero is a telecommunications engineer from Higher School of Engineers of Bilbao and Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (Germany),and MBA from IE Business School, in addition to having completed other training courses, all of them related to the insurance activity and reinsurer.
